FCCPS students enjoy an amazing session with famous pastry chef, won by parents at the 2017 FCEF Gala & Auction and sponsored by Gabi & John Sandoz. What's not to love?
Over the summer a unique mobile book van, Read & Roll, traveled to six locations in the City on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Ninety four children and 78 adults visited with librarians, school staff and police officers. Every child left with books to keep in their home library. The program was developed through a partnership among FCCPS, Mary Riley Styles Public Library and the FCC Police Department. Funding for some of the books was provided by Falls Church Education Foundation, showing that we are Better Together! #teamfccps

What was great about this experience is that we all share the same motivation that is to aim for better education for our kids regardless where we teach. The workshop started with an introduction by sharing with one of your transformations and continued the aims on the area of workshop that is to continue and develop an collaborative approach to the structures and principals for the Chinese program that is just right on District of CTL principal this year!! I am grateful that the fund that supports and offsets my cost to China and certainly I can bring my experiences back reflect on my teaching at Mason. Thanks!" |
