FCEF SIGN UP PARTIES

Sign Up Parties are unique special events hosted by friends of the Falls Church Education Foundation. Sign Up Party participants make a specified contribution to the Foundation to attend one or more of these special events. To sign up, guests will log into the Sign Up Party website which will be promoted to all school families, staff and faculty. Go to www.fcedf.org to sign up before space runs out!

This year’s Sign Up Parties include:

• Antique Road Show Experience for 30 at Quinn’s Auction Galleries. Bring one of your “treasures in the attic” for a professional appraisal by Matt Quinn on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Limit of one item per couple. The evening also includes refreshments. Specified contribution: $100 per couple
• A Bonfire and Cookout for 40 at the Home of Gabi and John Sandoz, 308 N. Virginia Avenue, Falls Church, VA. A crisp fall evening, a backyard bonfire, some festive fall brews and cookout fare awaits our party guests. Specified contribution: $70 per couple
• SOLD OUT! - Two Cake Baking, Filling and Decoration classes for 7 by Kendall Barrett of Kendall’s Cakes in her home kitchen in Falls Church, VA. Two consecutive sessions with one of the country’s premiere cake designers. Under Kendall’s guidance, you will bake, fill and decorate your own cake. She will share her best secrets to her success as a cake designer for such luminaries as Tony Bennett, Maya Angelou and Condi Rice. Specified contribution: $100 per person
• Tasting Party for 12 at Red, White and Bleu in Falls Church, VA includes tastings of artisan cheeses, charcuterie, chocolate and wine Specified contribution: $60 per person
• Euchre Card Gaming Night for 12 players at the Home of Donna Englander, 2921 Meadow Lane, Falls Church,. VA includes lessons and review of conventional euchre, a trick taking card game, and delicious refreshments Specified contribution: $25 per person
• Signature Fashion Night for 10 at the Home of Theresa Romer, 116 Tollgate Way Falls Church, VA Theresa Romer, wardrobe consultant, owner of Signature Style and longtime resident of Falls Church, shares her Top 10 list of Wardrobe Essentials and helps you learn how to shop your own closet to put together fresh new looks. Desserts, refreshing drinks and music will top off this night of style and fun! Specified contribution: $50 per person
