Because of a FCEF Super Grant, my students can...
…have some agency over their learning experience on a topic that doesn't always feel easy for them. Having whiteboard tables has encouraged students to show their mathematical thinking and stand at a large table or self select the type of seat they use. This has helped them have ownership over the space and feel comfortable to do their best learning. — Sarah Leahey, Henderson Middle School Math Specialist
…use flexible seating options in their classrooms. They demonstrated increased focus and engagement for learning in their classroom environments. The greatest thing about this grant is the students are still using the flexible seating options today. Teachers who observed the benefits of the flexible seating continue to request and seek flexible seating for their students. — Barb Saaty, Jessie Thackrey Preschool Occupational Therapist
